Antioch, Tennessee is a neighborhood of Nashville in southeastern Davidson County. The town began in 1810 as a church near Mill Creek. The community then became a commuter town as many workers went into Nashville for work. As time went on the town grew through suburbanization, but never incorporated as a city. Even though the boundaries of Antioch were not clearly defined, it continued to draw people and continued to grow.
